Trading Tables

How to use the gem trading table system for direct buyer-seller deals

What is a Trading Table?

  1. 1A Trading Table is a bulletin-board style feature where buyers post specific gemstone requests.
  2. 2Verified sellers then browse these requests and submit tailored offers.
  3. 3Buyer and seller negotiate directly via the platform's messaging system.
  4. 4Once agreed, the buyer confirms the deal and pays via bank transfer.
  5. 5This system ensures competitive pricing and access to gems not yet listed publicly.
Tips

Be as specific as possible in your request — include carat range, budget, treatment preference, and certificate requirement

Posting a Trading Request (Buyers)

  1. 1Go to Dashboard > Trading > New Request.
  2. 2Select gemstone type, desired carat range, budget, origin preference, and treatment.
  3. 3Specify if a lab certificate is required (and which labs you accept).
  4. 4Set your request expiry date (1-30 days).
  5. 5Your request will be visible to all verified sellers on the platform.
  6. 6You will be notified by email and in-app when sellers submit offers.

Completing a Trading Table Deal

  1. 1Review all offers in Dashboard > Trading > My Requests.
  2. 2Use the messaging system to ask sellers questions, request more photos, or negotiate price.
  3. 3When ready, click 'Accept Offer' to lock in the deal.
  4. 4The system generates a deal slip with payment details.
  5. 5Transfer the agreed amount to the seller's bank account and upload your payment slip.
  6. 6The seller confirms receipt and ships the gemstone within 2 business days.
Important

Never pay outside the platform or to unverified accounts. All payments must be made through the deal slip system
